The London Youth Advisory Council is a group of fifteen young people between the ages of 15-25 who discuss and work on different community issues during their one year term. Youth councillors receive training in leadership and municipal politics, represent youth within their local ward, and get the chance to work with community leaders in London.
The fourteen councillors who represent the wards of London are elected in May, while the 15th councillor who represents the Western community is elected during the USC Student Elections in February.
